Our barbermen are well-trained and equipped to craft great fade.

Our barbermen always use hand sanitation prior to start the service and always use disposable razor for shaving.

THE ROARING 20S
The Roaring Twenties is a term for Western society and culture in the 1920s. This era is the wake of hyper-emotional patriotism after World War I. Art Deco was the style of design and architecture that marked the era.
It was also known as the birth decade of jazz. Swing jazz along with foxtrot and waltz dance are blossomed every wear. Several famous names of 20s era were Theodore Roosevelt, Sir Charles Spencer a.k.a. Charlie Chaplin, Lance Armstrong, Duke Ellington, etc. You can experience the ambience of 20s era at Gentology Barbershop.

POMADE
Our pomade does not contain petroleum which cause the hair become very hard to be degreased/wash and heat sensitive that cause the pomade fade to face and cause pimples. Our pomade also does not contain color dye. Our main ingredient is beeswax which is easier to degrease/wash, healthy and less heat sensitive. Quite easy to degrease/wash (2x hairwash).
THE MEN BEHIND THE BORN OF GENTOLOGY
Gentology Barbershop was founded by 2 passionate men, Ricky Andi Wardana and Bob Christoper. Ricky's background is civil engineer and Bob's is finance. Both of us share the same passion about proper haircut and proper gentleman attitude.
Firstly, we found it is hard to find proper barbershop in Jakarta which deliver proper traditional British barbering and fading. Gentology barbershop is not just our business. It is 'second home' for us. Our relation with customers is more than just business but friendship.
People can travel far to reach you place even they only stop by. It is called 'connection'.
